Wearing a three-layer mask has an adverse effect on both oxygen levels and breathing rate. Despite this, it is necessary to use it to avoid worsening levels of pollution and infection. These findings have emerged in a study conducted in the Physiology Department of KGMU, Lucknow. This study has been recognized by publishing it in an international journal.
The study published in the International Journal of Health Sciences and Research was conducted by Prof. Shraddha Singh, Prof. Jagdish Narayan and Dr. Mohd. Tanveer has done it. 104 healthy people aged between 20 to 50 years were included in this. There were 86 men and 18 women.
